You lie back with your eyes closed for the whole appointment — most people find it restful enough to fall asleep. Your lash artist isolates each natural lash and places an extension on it, so nothing is glued to your skin and nothing is stuck to its neighbour. That isolation is the difference between a set that grows out cleanly and one that tugs.
Before we start we talk about what you want: length, curl and how dramatic. If you are not sure, say so — we would rather begin on the natural side and build up at your next visit than hand you something you do not feel like yourself in.
How long they last
Your own lashes shed on their own cycle, so extensions come away gradually over three to five weeks. Most clients come back every two to three weeks for a refill, which is quicker and cheaper than a new full set.
Aftercare, honestly
Keep them dry for the first 24 hours. After that, wash your face as normal but avoid oil-based cleansers and heavy eye makeup remover around the lash line. Brush them through with a clean spoolie in the morning. Do not pick at them — if a set is bothering you, come in and we will take them off properly.
Learn to do it yourself
We also run an eyelash extension course — three sessions of two hours, Rp 1.500.000 — for anyone who wants to work as a lash artist. Small groups, real practice, taught in Indonesian or English.
